Hamilton Gallery Guest Series: Luis Alberto Rodriguez Colome

Guest Artist Series

Luis Alberto Rodriguez Colome

Luis Alberto Rodriguez Colome was born in Mexico City to parents fully engaged in the arts. He began to paint at age 13 as his artistic exploration and as a way to make money, but it quickly became his passion. As a young adult, Luis Alberto ventured into Europe with little in his pockets; it was his paintings that enabled him to travel around Europe, where he had the opportunity to meet new artists and learn new techniques. While in Europe, he sold many paintings and painted several murals.
Luis Alberto has exhibited in more than 200 galleries and has painted large murals for renowned hotels and businesses in Mexico City and Puerto Vallarta. His art is in high demand there among wealthy art collectors and tourists alike. In addition to painting, engraving, sculpting, carving, and serigraphy, Luis Alberto is also a gifted guitarist.
