Hamilton Branch - Pratt Library Announces their Summer Event Schedule

Following is the Summer Schedule of Events at the Enoch Pratt Free Library - Hamilton Branch sent by Elissa Thomas, Children's Librarian:
  • Every Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. PRESCHOOL STORYTIME (ages 3-5)

  • Every Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. MOTHER GOOSE ON THE LOOSE (infants up to age 3)
  • Thursday, July 22 at 4 p.m. EDIBLE ART. We will look at some of the zany picture books featuring characters made completely out of fruits and vegetables and make our own creations that we can eat at the end! Pre-registration is required:410.396.6088.

  • 2nd week of August SUMMER READING FINALE PARTY! Open to all kids and teens who have read 8 or more books between Jun 12 and Aug 7. Pizza, stories, games, crafts, and raffle prizes!

Hi Neighbors - JoAnn (aka the lawnmower whisperer) has returned so the shop can be opened during the week. The hours are:
Tuesday 11:30AM to 8:00PM (open during market hours)
Wednesday through Friday 11:30AM to 5:00PM
Saturdays 9:00AM to 5:00PM
Closed Sundays and Mondays

Remember we make keys, copies, and send faxes. You can also get your screens repaired as well as your lawn mowers. Call JoAnn during open hours on Tues, Wed, or Thurs, if you need your lawn mower repaired to make an appointment. I thank you all for your support.

Meet Mike Pertschuck, author of The DeMarco Factor: Transforming Public Will into Political Power, tonight at 6pm at Red Canoe, hosted by Ruth Quinn and Tom Chalkley. The celebrated focus of the book, Vinnie DeMarco will also be here and together these two political and scholarly gentlemen will share stories, talk about the book and answer questions.
