Blue Water Baltimore has been chosen as one of 20 finalists in Tom’s of Maine’s 50 States for Good initiative. This means we have a chance at being awarded $50,000 or $20,000 in funding to transform unused areas of asphalt into vibrant outdoor classrooms for Baltimore City school students.
The organization will apply this funding to our “Pavement to Prairie” initiative that’s already begun with one project at the Academy of College and Career Exploration in Hampden (see news at www.bluewaterbaltimore.org).
To win the prize money from Tom’s of Maine’s, we need everyone to help by VOTING DAILY! Visitwww.50statesforgood.com to vote every day until September 13th and click on Blue Water Baltimore. Then just enter the encrypted text, and your vote counts–no personal information is required!
