Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)

HBU's Mixed Martial Arts leadership program practice days are Tuesday and Thurday from 6-7:30 at the HBU Center, 5532 Harford Road.  The cost of this program is just $30 per month.  Some of what your son will be learning is:

  • conflict resolution
  • confidence training
  • discipline attributes
  • how to demonstrate respectful behavior
This is a mixed martial arts form developed by HBU through the past seven years.  The boys learn strikes, kicks, takedowns, joint locks and submissions.  This is a belt system, so the boys will be given an opportunity to earn advancements.

Don't miss this great opportunity for your son this year.
This is only for boys in grade levels 2nd - 6th.

Who is HBU?  What do they do?
HBU is Helping Boys Understand.  Robert Madden provides opportunities for youth through after school programs that include sports, and outreach into the community.

HBU brings the fun to the Hamilton Street Festival
