Ned Balbo: Loyola University Maryland teacher, winner of the 2010 Donald Justice Prize for The Trials of Edgar Poe and Other Poems & author of Finishing Line's Something Must Happen;
Virginia Crawford: teacher with the Maryland State Arts Council's Poets in the Schools program, coeditor of the anthology Poetry Baltimore and author of Finishing Line's Touch;
Kathleen Hellen: contributing editor for the Baltimore Review; awards include the Washington Square Review and Thomas Merton poetry prizes and individual artist grants from Maryland and the city of Baltimore, author of Finishing Line's The Girl Who Loved Mothra;
Michael Salcman: physician, brain scientist and art critic; his course on How The Brain Works is available on-line at The Knowledge Network of the New York Times; his work has been heard on NPR's All Things Considered,and he's authored Finishing Line's A Season Like This as well as the chapbooks Stones In Our Pockets, and he is also the author of the full length collection The Clock Made of Confetti;
Julia Wendell lives and works on a horse farm in northern Baltimore County and actively competes in three-day eventing; her latest poetry book is The Sorry Flowers and her memoir is Finding my Distance: a year in the life of a three-day event rider; her two Finishing Line volumes are Scared Money Never Wins and Restalrig.
Gimme Shelter Productions is a local organization of poets and performers who create events to raise awareness of homelessness and try to raise money and procure necessary items for shelters.
