Cleanup at 4500 Harford Road (home of the Tuesday Market in Lauraville)

The building at 4500 Harford Road got a bit of a facelift yesterday. Hamilton-Lauraville Main Street does not own this building, but did get permission to do some repair work to the roof. The roof has been leaking, but due to heavy rains from Hurricane Irene, the roof suffered further damage. The job is not complete, but a great deal of work was completed yesterday.

Thank you to Rich Marsiglia (Hamilton Vacuum) for spearheading this project and spending the day on the roof. Thank you to Tom Rhodes (Zeke's Coffee), John Kovacevich (LLC), Beth Dellow (Beth's DIY), Arthur Morgan (Hamilton Crop Circle) Jeff Smith (The Chameleon), Josh Marsiglia, Sue Holmes, Pam Wallace, Mike Murphy, & Nikee Ryan! Your hard work is always appreciated.

The work that was completed yesterday included some new wood on the roof, roof felt, heavy roof paper, some exterior painting, weeding, sweeping and loading two large loads of debris from the interior of the building that made it to the dump. Our next work day will include replacing damaged rain gutters, rotten wood on the north side of the building and more painting. The work date is not set, but all willing volunteers will be welcome.

Thank you to all of our great neighborhood volunteers that care to lend a hand to make things better! It makes a difference!
