Just recently Studio C in Lauraville moved from its nook over the Red Canoe into a bigger space below it. That means even more jewelry on display from owner Constance Scott. Though the tiny shop is full of things she makes with beads and semi-precious stones, Scott's specialty is fashioning colorful, one-of-a-kind pieces from vintage tins. The necklaces are standout, coming in all sorts of colors and in patters with flowers, fruit, birds and animals. Some are dainty, others are bold.
