The Donovan Fund Film Series
One Saturday a month, people gather to enjoy a classic film to benefit the Donovan Fund. Recent selections have included Buffalo Soldiers, An Affair to Remember and The Informer. The money raised from ticket sales goes to help low-income senior citizens handle emergency situations.This Saturday, September 12, 2009 is the showing of the 1939 commedy classic Ninotchka, on hour of Greta Garbo's birthday.
The film is being shown at the Theatre on the Second Floor (above Chop Shop), 4321 Harford Road, Lauraville, Baltimore.
