Beatles + Blondie + Banjo = Bluegrass? In the world of Bald Mountain Band it does. With six musicians in the room, one is bound to come across a wide variety of musical tastes. No worries-we play what we want to! You might hear a traditional bluegrass tune, a cover of “Funky Town” and an original song or two thrown into the mix to keep things interesting. Regardless of what we end up playing, we always have a great time making music together and sharing it with our audiences!

Hamilton Gallery Guest Artist for November

November Exhibit

Christine Humphries

Christine Humphries has always been involved in the arts. For many years, she pursued creative expression through music. As a composer she was intrigued by collaborative efforts; this included composing for theatre and advertising, as well as producing mixed-media events involving dance, photography and lighting.
Six years ago, while meditating, vivid colors and shapes appeared before Christine’s mind’s-eye, and she decided to paint what she saw. The musical swish of paint on canvas was alluring, and Christine has been painting ever since.
Traces Left presents works based on meditations, improvisations and reflections on place.
