A reminder that Harford Road will be closed on Sunday for the 2nd Indie 900' Downhill Derby. The road will close at 7:00 a.m. The race takes place from 10 - 3, and the road will re-open shortly after. Gibbons Avenue will be open to traffic on the southern border; White Avenue will be open to traffic on the northern border. Buses transportation will be diverted.
If anyone is up for volunteering to help set up for the race, you will be very welcome. (Please come by when you can, but many volunteers will be there at 7:00 a.m.) Some of the events include a mural painting in the intersection of Hamilton Avenue & Harford Road, led by Whitney Frazier, a visit by the Grand Prix (hopefully, but not looking promising) and the soap-box style race. We expect a large group to attend and realize this could impact parking in your neighborhood. We will try to minimize that to the best of our ability and have arranged for numerous "free parking" areas.
Thank you!
